Finished looking? Great. Now realize I’m wearing something that can only be called a squirrel suit and is akin to a potato sack with sleeves and foot holes.

The right light and angle and you can rock anything.

More rain.

I decided to play a little with window light. I have all my giant modifiers to replicate it if I want to, but I only recently realized I rarely use the real thing.

This is the one and only picture of me that I’ve looked at and ever immediately thought this looks like me. I kid a lot and tell some seriously bad jokes on a regular basis, but methinks I’m very even keel and straight faced at heart.

I should play poker.

I thought of doing all of this, but with me instead of the porcupine. But then I saw the porcupine.

We went on a walk, and I brought the camera. It was a hard choice for the final one for today’s picture.

Both think I’m checking for cars behind them.

Wouldn’t ya know, the very first picture I took out of a series of 20 or so is the one I like best. Better not tell Mel that – she froze her butt off.

This picture might look like I cheated. But I didn’t. If you’d seen my desk before the mass cleaning frenzy that just hit this office, you’d understand.

The rain today left me uninspired. I had ideas for today, but they all got washed away.

So here’s some rain dripping off of berries. Won’t see much nature out of me… It just isn’t my thing. I like people.

I really don’t know how to smile when taking a picture of myself. Mel said I look like I’m trying to be “hard” or “cool.” But really, I’m just looking at the camera.

Maybe it’s a compliment that my normal look looks cool?

As I was snapping this, two campus police officers were walking toward me. Methinks they were asking me to leave. Instead, I took their picture, too. I’ll probably put that on the blog eventually.

This unblinking gaze gets quite creepy. She unblinkingly stares me down. Even when someone else is petting her, she’ll turn to stare at me.

So yesterday’s picture was going in this direction. If not for the rain later that day, it probably would’ve been close to this. But if you gotta re-do something, you might as well over-do it.

I’m so done with fireworks. Burned myself yesterday, burned myself today. I’m surprised I haven’t kept the firework and thrown the lighter yet.
